With little athletic experience or ability, Jonas uses a bit of physics to master various arm balances by using weight distribution rather than pure muscle strength. Become empowered to successfully flow in and out of some of your favorite yoga arm balance postures with ease, as this class is open to all levels of experience and variations for both the beginner and advanced practitioner will be offered.

Join David & Leah to experience this Ancient folk art to enhance your Yoga or Bodywork practice. During this hands-on workshop we practice in seated or lying positions where you will learn several effective sequences of massage asanas and stretches. Vedic Thai-Yoga is an "assisted" style of bodywork practiced with a partner that is easy, relaxing, FUN to learn and manifests instant positive results!

Urban Art Yoga Exploration

Start off with a yoga practice on the lawn  to evoke mindfulness and curiosity, then head out to take in some of the captivating urban works of art within the Deep Ellum Distict. We will let the street art and city scape guide us into a mindfulness adventure that will end with finding peace on our mats surrounded by green grass, blue skies and the warm sun.

Meditative Fitness

Becoming your Breath in Movement

Where does your breath end and you begin? In this mini-class, we will explore and expand your practice with your breath. We will prepare your diaphragm and practice some different types of meditative breaths, tuning in to all the sensations in a single breath, and connecting your breath with movement. Becoming your breath is about connecting with your breath, moving and flowing with your breath, and executing intentions with your breath. Are you ready to become your breath?

Children learn through play, but unfortunately many are already feeling the effects of a busy, stressed out society. Using songs, stories, and rhymes to maintain interest, this class will incorporate poses for strength, flexibility, balance, and overall health. We will also work on deep breathing, focused attention, cooperation, and relaxation. Most importantly, the kids get to have fun and shine like the stars they are.
